Weldon Earl Hawkins

Graveside services for Weldon E. Hawkins, 69, of Gainesville, are set for 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Nelson Grove Cemetery with Rev. John Reynolds officiating.

Visitation is set for Friday, March 6, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Hawkins died March 5, 2009 at his residence.

Survivors include his spouse Diane Evans Hawkins of Gainesville; son and daughter in law John and Shawn Hawkins of Bedford; step-son Bryn Clouser of Bakersfield, CA; grandchildren Ashley, Joel, Carson, and Jordan Hawkins of Bedford, and Michael Monroe of Gainesville; sister and brother in law Viola and Calvin Duckworth of Nocona; brothers Jimmy Hawkins of Whitesboro and Jerry Hawkins of Thackerville, OK.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Hawkins Sr., brothers W. I. Hawkins, Jr., and Jack Hawkins, sister Opal Cason, and daughter Mary Beth Monroe.
