Royce Wayne Trimble

Funeral services for Royce Wayne Trimble, 69, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM on Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Fr. Jim Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the funeral home.

Mr. Trimble died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at his home in Gainesville.

Mr. Trimble was born June 21, 1940 in Durant, OK to Voyle Trimble and Gladys Haworth Taylor. He loved gardening and he had a passion for fishing. Later in life he picked up taxidermy and raising game birds. He could be described as a “total outdoorsman.”

Mr. Trimble is survived by his wife Bernice Urbanovsky Trimble of Gainesville, daughters Therese Trimble of Little Elm, Martha Trimble of Tomball, son and daughter in law Roger and Beverly Trimble of Denton, son Robert Trimble of Gainesville, and daughter Susan Fuller of Gainesville. He is survived by his grandchildren Jayme Bajula, Cheryl Trimble, Lynzie Trimble, Chris Trimble, Melaney Trimble, Jordan and Cameron Fuller and great grandchild Jayden Hicks. He is also survived by his sisters Jaunita Ruth, Ruth Blakey, Kathy Human, and brothers V.A. Trimble and John Taylor and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Trimble is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Ouilda Simpson.

Pall bearers will be Jordan and Cameron Fuller, Chris Trimble, James Sherek, William Chadwick, and Kyle Genneken.
