Margaret Beth Kuykendall

Funeral services for Beth Kuykendall are set for Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Acrey officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Beth Kuykendall was born October 12, 1955 in Denton to Kenneth and Doris Fomby. She graduated Gainesville High School in 1976. Beth enjoyed caring for her family, sewing, singing and trips to Six Flags with her sister Jan Reiter. She was a founding member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church. Beth was active in church and always there to lend a hand with school activities and anything her family needed.

Beth went to be with the Lord on October 5, 2009 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

She is survived by her husband Charley Kuykendall of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law Tonja and Brian Petree of Bossier City, La., daughter Sarah Merrick of Gainesville, grandsons Andrew Petree of Bossier City, La., and Isaac Green of Phoenix, Az. and step-daughter Erica Green of Phoenix, Az.

She is also survived by her father Kenneth Fomby of Gainesville, sister Gail Brandt of Gainesville, brother and sister-in-law Russell and Teresa Fomby of Gainesville and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her mother Doris Fomby, sister Jan Reiter, and brother-in-laws Bill Reiter and Tommy Brandt.

Pallbearers will be Robert Tamplin, Michael Tamplin, Brian Petree, John Self, Daniel Self, and Billy Oswalt.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Reiter, Ethan Reiter, Russell Fomby II, and Steve Bullard.
