Mildred Caston

A private memorial service for Mildred Verlene Caston will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Geo. Carroll and Sons Funeral Chapel in Gainesville.

Mrs. Caston passed away at her home in Gainesville on Feb. 10, 2009 at the age of 78.

Mildred Verlene Caston was born in Donalphen, Mo. on April 19, 1930. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and aunt.

Her pride and joy was her grandkids, Harold James Caston and wife ,Chaura of San Angelo, Heather Marie Caston of Justin, Kizzy Caston Martinez of Little Elm, Brandi Preas Jamme of Aubrey, Madison Hope Caston of Cross Roads and Teri Danielle Geeslin of New York. “Granny” will be missed by all of her eight beautiful great-grand kids.

She is survived by a large family including her spouse of 53 years, James Richard Caston of Gainesville; her son, James Michael Caston and wife, Erin of Cross Roads and daughter, Terry Lynn Geeslin of Little Elm; brothers, Gene Trease of Bloomington, Ill. and Dale Trease of Allen and sister, Pauline Mounger of Richardson.
