Funeral services for Anna Stapleton Homer 91, of Gainesville are set for 10:00 A. M. Monday August 10.at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with vistation at 9:00 A.M. at the funeral home.Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Homer passed away on August 7, 2009 in Denton.

Anna was born on August 6, 1918 in Hunt County, the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Alla Inabinette Stapleton. she married Richard W. Homer on August 28, 1949 who preceded her in death on January 4, 1982. Together they traveled the World in various job assignments with the U. S. goverment.

Survivors include: son and daughter in law Richard and Lynda Homer; grandchildren Kevin and Niki Homer, Kent and Penny Homer, Cyndy McDevitt, Kirk Homer and his long term partner Lynden Armstrong, Chris and Debbie Ward. Great grandchildren Brandon Homer, Joey Meyers, Joclene and John Davey, Melena and Nick Sandifer, Blake Homer, Caleb Homer, Michael Ward and Caitlin McDevitt Great,great grandchildren Max Davey and Rexi Lyn Sandifer: longtime companion Thomas E."Bud" Bragg and "Blackie" her Cat, a sister Juanita Welch and family; dear friends Lena Tabladillo and Tracy Toth, and many many close friends.
