Funeral services for Jo Ann Fenley, 84, of Gainesville are set for 10a.m. Tuesday August 11, 2009 at Geo J Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating. Burial will follow at Cogburn Cemetery in Leo, TX. Visitation will be Monday August 10, 2009 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fenley was born on November 5, 1924 in Leo, TX to A.E. and Eula Mae Cogburn. Mrs. Fenley passed away on August 8, 2009 at Pecan Tree Nursing Home in Gainesville, TX.

Jo Ann retired after working for many years in the meat market at Safeway Food Stores. She then let her love for fishing take her to work part - time with a dear friend at North Weaver Bait & Tackle for several years. She loved to go fishing and was always ready to go.

Family was a big part of her life, and she enjoyed cooking and having everyone at her home whenever possible.

Jo Ann is survived by: Son and Daughter - in - law, Danny and Phyllis Fenley of Gainesville; Daughter and Son - in - law, Patsy and Butch Perkins of Callisburg; 5 Grandchildren and 11 Great - Grandchildren.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Fenley; a son Rickey Fenley; Parents A.E.(Hoss) and Eula Mae Cogburn; a brother, Carroll Ray Cogburn; and a sister Peggy Jean Cogburn.

Pall Bearers will be Nick Bowers, Mike Perkins, Ed Perkins, Malcolm Foster, Bryan Hurd, and Rodney Swirczynski.
