Graveside Services for Velma Hudspeth, 86, of Valley View are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Kelly Box officiating. Following the Graveside Services, there will be a gathering at The Rock at F.B.C. Valley View beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Cindy and Tom Tilton of Valley View; son and daughter-in-law Warren and Renee Hudspeth of Pilot Point; son and daughter-in-law Don and Linda Hudspeth of Denton; grandchildren Wade Hudspeth; Luke and Kimberly Hudspeth; David and Ellyse Hudspeth; John, Sarah, and Leah Hudspth; Travis, Tucker, and Tanner Tilton; and sister Fay Cole of Stephenville.
Velma played an active part, along with her husband W.E., in running the Pilot Point Livestock Commission for over thirty years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Valley View and especially loved to quilt.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cooke County Home Hospice or Valley View Cemetery Association.
