Judy Carroll Wolfe, 63, entered her heavenly home April 2, 2009 at Denton Regional Hospital. She was born in Gainesville on July 30, 1945 to Rev. Herschel and Ruth Greene-Bullard, and was a graduate of Gainesville High School and North Texas College.
Judy married Phillip Ray Wolfe July 28, 1965 in Gainesville.
Mrs. Wolfe worked as a medical transcriptionist at NTMC for a number of years. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church and had previously served as organist and Bible study teacher.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Phillip Wolfe, brother and sister-in-law Steve and Gail Bullard; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Bob Chapman all of Gainesville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Kenneth and Sammie Wolfe of Thackerville,Ok, niceces and their spouses Tami Chapman-Henry and Ron, Traci Chapman-King and Stephen, Jennifer Chapman-Seckel and Rick, Connie Wolfe and Sonny Allmand, and a niece Stephanee Bullard, nephew and spouse Chad Mansfield and Christy, nephew Mike Wolfe, great nephews Drew Alvarado and Dalton McConnell, great niece and spouse Loran McConnell-Hensley and Jesse, great-great niece Mia Hensley and great-great nephew Micah Hensley, and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Arrangements are set for 1:30 PM, Monday, April 6, 2009 at Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville, with burial to follow in Thackerville, Ok. Visitation is set for Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son funeral home.
