Margaret L. Smith

Margaret Louise Smith, 58, Of Dallas, Texas (formerly of Gainesville), died at
Denton Presbyterian Hospital on September 21, 2008, form complications of
surgery.

She is the daughter of Julian and Kathryn (Stice) Smith of Gainesville, Texas.
She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 25, 1950 and moved with her
family to Gainesville in 1956. She graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School,
and Gainesville High School in 1968. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree
from Texas Women's University, Denton, in 1972, and thereafter received her
Registered Nurse Certificate. She was employed as a Nurse in the Dallas area for
about 35 years.

Survivors include her father and step-mother, Julian and Kathryn Aiken Smith, of
Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law Zinda (Smith) and Frank Fuller of
Dallas, and Becky (Smith) and Dale Bezner of Lindsay; brother John Smith of
Denver, Colorado; nephew Blake Bezner of Gainesville; and nieces Meredith Bezner
of Houston, and Kate Fuller of College Station.

She is also survived by an uncle and aunt, Larry and Anita Smith of Billings,
Montana; several cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in
death by her mother Kathryn Louise Stice Smith in 1984.

Their will be a rosary service with visitation to follow Tuesday Sept. 23 at
7:00 P.M. at Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home. A memorial Mass will be
conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gainesville , on Wed Sept. 24 at 10:00
A.M.
