Leola Mae Scott Murrell

Funeral Service for Leola Mae Scott Murrell, 82, of Gainesville are set for Saturday November 27, 2010 at 2 pm at the Geo J Carroll Chapel with David Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo J Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday November 26, 2010 from 7 to 8 pm.

Leola was born January 13, 1928 in Eastland, TX to Arthur Edward and Lola Latham Scott.  She went to be with the Lord Sunday November 21, 2010 at the Pecan Tree Manor Nursing Home.

Leola is survived by her sons: Bobby, Ronny, Casey, and Derek Murrell; sisters: Opal Pittner and Maudene and her husband Benny Mason;  grandchildren: Pam, Jennifer, Stormy, Josh, Devin, and Payton; and great grandchildren: Jordan, Brandon, Jarvis, and Jade.

Leola was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Lola Scott; husband:Billy Murrell; son: Larry Murrell; brothers: Frank, Cecil, Orville, and Ernest Scott; and sister: Lela Sconce.

Pallbearers will be: Dwaine Scott, Jeff Scott, Tim Scott, Dale Scott, Lynn Foster, and Benny Hooper.  Honorary pallbearers will be: Beverly Guttridge, Carrie Beam Robertson, and Jean Shaw Moore.
