Mary Hudspeth

Mary Jo Hudspeth of Valley View passed away May 20, 2010, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton. She was 83.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the Valley View Methodist Church at 3 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 2 p.m. before the service. Burial will follow at the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hudspeth was born May 2, 1927, in Valley View to Claburone Harrison and Olevia Eldora Chisam. She married W.B. Hudspeth in 1945.

She is preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Hudspeth; parents, Claburone Harrison and Olevia Eldora Chisam; three brothers, Snug, Dike and Buster Chisam; and sisters, Claudia Martindale and Bill Farrell.

She is survived by children, Nancy and husband Mike Graves of Era, Bill and wife Dobber of Marietta, Okla.; grandchildren, Kelly and husband Clay Corbett of Lindsay, Jeff and wife Karime Graves of Era, Mark Graves of Sanger, Wendy and husband Cody Gillham of Marrietta, Okla., Cody Hudspeth of Marietta, Okla.; and three great-grandsons; sisters, Mildred Gillum, Shirley Barthold and Jewel Hassenphflug; and brother-in-law, Wilbur Barthold.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Graves, Mark Graves, Cody Hudspeth, Don Hudspeth, Warren Hudspeth, David Cox, Brian Hobbs, Terry Barthold, Clay Corbett, Cody Gillham.
