Rosie Smith

Funeral Services for Rosie Smith, 74, of Gainesville, are set for Tuesday July 13, 2010 at 3:00 pm at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Steve Dyke and Bro. Billy Tucker Officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.

Rosie was born in Doughtery, TX on December 19, 1935 to Willie and Tillie Greene Mullins. She passed away at Presbyterian in Denton on July 11, 2010. She was a member of The Church of God in Gainesville.

Rosie is survived by daughter Gladys Smith of Gainesville, daughter and son in law Penny and John Hurley of Colorado Springs, CO, daughter and son in law Peggy and Jimmy Dawley of Callisburg, daughter Julie Crockett of Northumberland, UK, daughter Lisa Cooper of Gainesville, daughter and son in law Jeannie and Johnny Bell of Gainesville, thirteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bert Smith and her parents.
