Nancy Ann Rowbotham

Services for Nancy Ann Rowbotham, 66, of Gainesville are set for 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Callisburg Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Rowbotham died June 17, 2007, at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.

She was born Aug. 4, 1940, in Visalia, Calif., to Hugh Rufus and Annie Lee Powell Miller. On Jan. 8, 1964, she married Dawson Billy Rowbotham in Pineville, Mo. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a 1986 graduate of Cooke County College, as a vocational nurse. She was employed by Gainesville Memorial Hospital for 18 years.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Rowbotham of Gainesville; sons and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Barnes of Phoenix, Ariz., Daryle Barnes of New Orleans, La., and Tommy Rowbotham of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Michael Hines of Sulphur Springs, and Billie and Steve Westbrook of Gainesville; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, O’Dell Miller of Yuma, Ariz., Arlyn Miller of Roseville, Calif., Dennis Miller of Sparks, N.Y., Joyce Deason of Oklahoma City, and Norma Whetstone of Fariview, Okla.; sister-in-law, Shirley Walker of Locust Grove, Okla.; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronnie and Dean Miller; and sister, Sharon Mallott.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Jeff and Brandon Westbrook; and Ryan, Michael, Jason and David Barnes.

Visitation will be at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
