Anna Theresa Hermes

Funeral Mass for Anna Theresa Hermes, 83, of Lindsay, are set for 10:00 am Tuesday December 21, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peter's cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm Monday December 20, 2010 with visitation to follow at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

Anna was born in Gainesville to Clem and Amelia Rauschuber Hermes on November 3, 1927. She passed away Saturday December 18, 2010 in Gainesville.

Ms. Hermes always enjoyed traveling. She also loved to play 42 with her friends and family. She worked at Southwestern Bell for 20 years and for Sacred Heart as a teacher for 24 years.

She is survived by her sister Mary Hundt of Lindsay; sister Louise Schad of Lindsay; sister and brother in law Elfrieda and Joe Hundt of Lindsay; sister and brother in law Amelia and Theodore Voth of Muenster; brother and sister in law Joe and Alice Hermes of Lindsay; brother and sister in law Clem and Wanda Hermes of Lindsay; sister Rita Corcoran of Gainesville; sister and brother in law Angela and Frank Haverkamp of Lindsay; sister and brother in law Bernice and David Strittmatter of Pilot Point; brother Gilbert Hermes of Lindsay; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
