Patty Stotts

CALLISBURG — Memorial service for Patty Lou Stotts, 72, of Callisburg is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Kenny Phelps officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Stotts died peacefully Oct. 10, 2007, at her home in Callisburg.

She was born July 23, 1935, in Houston to Charles Buford and Cloella Ruth Burch Wilkins. Patty grew up in the Dallas area and was a bookkeeper for many years, as well as being a homemaker. She moved to Callisburg in 1984 and was a member of the Women of the Word Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Survivors include children, Cynthia Gear and her husband, Graham Nicol of Kalamunda, Western Australia; Rebecca Cravey and her husband, Daryl of Henderson; Patricia LeMaire and her husband, Woodie of New Iberia, La.; Karen Sellman and her husband, Ronald Jr. of Callisburg; and Sharon Williamson and her husband, Larry of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Larry E. Stotts Jr.

No visitation is planned.

The family would like to thank the nurses at Bluebonnet Hospice Care and Drs. McLeroy, Gibbs & Kline for taking great care of our mother during her illness over the past month.
