Louis Stephenson

Services for Louis Stephenson will be held Thursday July 5, 2007 at the Whaley U.M.C. at 10:30 AM. The Rev. Rob Spencer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service and prior to the interment.

Mr. Stephenson was born November 28, 1925 in Paris, Texas to Joe and Hettie Gibson Stephenson. He married Betty Monds on August 22, 1948 in Bonham, Texas.

Mr. Stephenson served our country during WWII with the 103rd Division and was a POW from Dec.'44 through April '45. He was a school administrator for GISD and a principle for Lee and Edison schools prior to his retirement. He was active in the community up until his death.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Dr. Randy Walling of Arlington, son and daughter-in-law Stuart and Billie Stephenson, 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty and his parents.
