Neva Williams

Graveside services for Neva Atkinson Williams, 90, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 pm Wednesday November 3, 2010 at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Visitation is set for Tuesday November 2, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Neva passed away Sunday October 31, 2010 in Gainesville. She was born on May 7, 1920 to L. A. and Sallie Piggott Atkinson in Florence, TX. She married Raymond Williams on May 21, 1937 in Marietta, OK. She worked for Mr. M's food Store until it closed and then went to work for Wal-mart, retiring at the age of 80.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son and daughter in law Charles and Betty Williams of Callisburg, son and daughter in law Billy and Margaret Williams of Valley View, daughter Nancy Gravette of Whitesboro, daughter Sara Dozier of Gainesville, daughter and son in law Cindy and J. D. Dutton of Gainesville, sixteen grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Neva is also survived by her loving and very loved care givers Nita Goodman, Nancy Bailey, and Elizabeth Turner.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband Ray Williams in 97', a daughter Linda Howser, and a grandson Alan Gravette.
