Edna Lindsay

Services for Edna Lindsay will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-9 PM. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lindsay died July 8th in Gainesville. She was born on September 18, 1914 in WhiteOaks, New Mexico to George and Nora Belle Heath Reddy. She married Charles Alfred Lindsay in Wichita Falls on August 27, 1932. She had a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Texas and was the middle school librarian for many years.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Ann McDaniel and her son Dr. C.A. Lindsay, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 3 nieces and her sister Joy Sherwood.

She is preceded in death by her husband and parents, and her sister Georgana Craig.
