Thelma Jean Kaler

Services for Thelma Kaler will be held on Saturday July 14th at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Hare. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 7-8 PM.

She died on July 11, 2007. She was born on December 3, 1932 in Meeker, Okla. to Virgil & Etta Stone Plumlee. She married Howard Kaler on July 15, 1951 in Nocona.

She is survived by her husband, Howard, her mother Etta Willis, her daughters Jo Etta Kaler and Sharon Burnside, both of Gainesville, her son William (Bill) Thomas Kaler II of Gainesville, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, sisters Leita Roper of Oklahoma City, Jo Ritchey of Nocona, brother Jim Plumlee of Nocona and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Plumlee.
