Roy Lee Riggs

emorial service for Roy Lee Riggs, 57, of Gainesville are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Sundbye officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mr. Riggs died Nov. 3, 2007, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 21, 1950, in Tipton, Okla., to F.A. “Dee” and Christine Gamage Riggs. On May 19, 2001, he married Mary Frinchaboy in Sacramento, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Riggs of Gainesville; mother, Christine Riggs of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Marleen Riggs of Westminster, Md., Arvie and Carol Riggs of Santa Clara, Calif., Bob and Darlene Riggs of Gordonville, Jerry and Mary Riggs of Gainesville, and David and Kathy Riggs of Ardmore, Okla.; brother, Johnny Riggs of Gainesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Wilbur Canada of Lone Grove, Okla., and Mary and Leon Huneycutt of Whitesboro; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, F.A. “Dee” Riggs and by a brother, Tom Riggs.

No visitation is planned.
