Noble M. Hurst

Graveside service for Noble M. Hurst, 92, of Gainesville is set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Cemetery with David Gray, minister of Hillcrest Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville.

Mrs. Hurst died Nov. 8, 2007, at Pecan Tree Manor.

She was born Feb. 24, 1915, in Sivells Bend to William H. and Nannie Shaffer Massey. On Aug. 4, 1934, she married Archie M. Hurst in Marietta, Okla. Noble Hurst was a homemaker and a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Donald Hurst of Gainesville; three grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Hurst on May 21, 2001; a grandson; four brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation took place at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m Saturday.
