Delois Mozelle Heath

Graveside services for Delois M. Heath, 91, of McKinney, formerly of Gainesville, are set for Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Arrangements are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Visitation is set for Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Heath died June 8, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Delois was born January 4, 1918 in Bells, Texas to Robert C. and Ruby L. McDaniel Vineyard. She graduated from Sherman High School and lived in the North Texas area her entire life. She was a long time member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Gainesville. In 1943 she married Mark C. Melton and after his death in 1961, she married C. R. Heath of Gainesville who also preceeded her in death in 1981.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ron and Rita Melton, son Mike Melton, grandson and his wife Mark C. and Michella Melton, and great-grandchildren Ruby Kate and Hank Melton, all of McKinney.
