Jack Edwin O’Brien, 87, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009. Jack was born June 28, 1922. He was a lifelong farmer and rancher, and a member of the Era Masonic Lodge. Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jane O’Brien; daughters Dian Molinar of Denton, Helen Kupper and husband Tom of Lewisville; grandchildren Monica Molinar, Darrin Kupper, Michael Molinar and wife Emily, and Justin Kupper; great-grandson J.T. Kupper, and numerous close and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents J.C. and Drue O’Brien, and son-in-law Tony Molinar. Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, September 10th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll and Son. A memorial service celebrating Jack’s life will be held on Friday, September 11th at 3:00 p.m. at Geo. J. Carroll and Son. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jack’s honor may be made to Home Hospice of Cooke County, PO Box 936, Gainesville, TX 76241, or a charity of your choice.
