Hobart Weldon Terry

Graveside services for Hobart Weldon Terry are set for Thursday May 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll and Son funeral home.Mr. Terry passed away on May 17, at his home.

Hobart was born on October 14, 1920 in Gainesville to Bart and Bertha Nall Terry. He graduated from Gainesville High school in 1938. He was employed as a welder at National Supply for over 30 yrs. Hobart was a member of the First Baptist Church and the mens sunday school class for over 69 yrs.and he also had served as a Deacon. Mr. Terry had a love for flowers.

Mr. Terry is survived by nieces and nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by a brother Meron R. Terry and a sister Wanda Magette and a close friend Vern Henley.

No visitation is planned and memorial contributions may be made to Home Hospice of Cooke County.
