Thomas Wilson

Thomas Wilson, 51, of Gainesville, TX died July 10, 2009 at North Texas Medical Center. Graveside services are set for Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Hollis Parson officiating. Services are under the direction of the Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville, TX.

Mr. Wilson was born on June 23, 1957 in Gainesville, Texas to Merlin Wilson and Toni Barnes Wilson. He attended Gainesville High School and graduated in 1976. He was employed at Country Boy Grocery and was a care giver. For the past 10 years he was disabled. He loved hunting, fishing, and visiting with friends.

He is survived by a sister - Kathy Thomas of Gulf Port, Mississippi; Half-Brothers - Kenny, Randy, and Donny Wilson of Gainesville; Step-Sister and Brother - in -law - Sharon and Dean Forney of Gainesville; Step-Brother and Sister - in law - Lacy and Karen Shotwell of Whitesboro; Aunt and Uncle - Dale and Bobbie Robinson of Lampoc, California; John Flora Mae Wilson of Gainesville and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Diabetic Association. Paul Bearers will be: Donny Wilson, Kirk Wilson, Kinzy Wilson, Colten Wilson, Carl Wilson, Jeff Simmions, Tim Pethgrew, and Doyle Scruggs.

A Visitation will be held Monday night at the Geo. J. Carroll Funeral Home in Gainesville from 7 to 8.
