TOMMIE OLETHA HUNT



Funeral services for Tommie Oletha Hunt, 85, of Gainesville, are set for 2:00 PM Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Fincher and Rev. Cecil Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, June 18, 2010 at the funeral home.



Ms. Hunt died June 17, 2010 at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center.



Oletha was born April 7, 1925 in Joaquin to Tom and Sarah Viola (Rogers) Truitt. She owned and operated Hunt’s Daycare for 27 years out of her own home. She was dearly loved by everyone that met her.



Ms. Hunt is survived by her son and daughter in law Kenneth and Terriah Hunt of Gainesville, daughter and son in law Judy and Danny Mayo of Whitesboro, daughter and son in law Pat and Don Weatheread of Gainesville and her sister Francis Wesley of Zavalla. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.



She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack Hunt, son Clifford Hunt, daughter Regina Silver, sister Judean Hunt, and her brother LB Truitt.
