DUDLEY J. LaPOINTE

Funeral Mass for Dudley J. LaPointe, 79, of Gainesville is scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Pemberton officiating, under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Sherman at 1:30 p.m. following the service.

A rosary will be held at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home this evening, June 16, 2010 at 7 p.m. with visitation to follow.

Mr. LaPointe was born in Abbeville, La. on July 19, 1930 and passed at his residence in Gainesville on June 14, 2010.

Dudley is survived by his wife, Lula Mae LaPointe of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Charlotte LaPointe of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Hazem Elkurd of Winnie; daughter, Loretta Bomsburger of Sherman; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Nancy LaPointe of Las Vegas, Nev., son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Patricia LaPointe of Muenster and a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Jane Boudain of LaFayette, La. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
