Helen Brown

Helen Marie Brown passed away at her home on June 18th, 2010 after a battle with ALS and has went to meet her Lord Jesus Christ.
Services will be held on Monday June 21st at 2:00 pm under the directions of George J Carroll Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville Texas. Ricky King will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be held Sunday June 20th, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm.

Helen Maria Brown was born October 7th 1946 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Marvin Weaver Skaggs and Hattie Marie Skaggs. She attended Callisburg High School. She was employed at Peterbulit in Denton until her Retirement in 1999.
She married the Love of her life Oscar Brown on December 31st 1964 in Sherman, Texas. She was a member of Victory Life Tabernacle in Gainesville.
Helen was a Amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt to her loving family.
Helen will be greatly missed by husband Oscar Brown of Whitesboro, son Terry and Patti Brown of Whitesboro, Sisters Brenda Mason of Bedford Texas and Debra Skaggs of Gainesville, Brothers Dewayne and Barbara Skaggs of Woodbine, James and Kathy Skaggs of Whitesboro and Ronnie and Rachel Skaggs of Gainesville. Grandchildren Trent, Alesha, and Garrett Brown, Ashley, Crystal and Raycell Colwell and four great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by father Marvin Skaggs, son Gary Brown and nephew Curtis Brashar and niece Amanda Skaggs.
Pallbearers Wayne Allen Skaggs, James Skaggs Jr (Slick), Jason Brashar, Bobby Coleman, Trey Harrison and Zack McCauley. Honary Kodie Chaney.
