Funeral services for Natoma Scruggs, 84, of Gainesville are set for Friday July 2, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Geo. J Carroll & Son Chapel. Burial will follow in New Resthaven Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Natoma was born June 7,1926 in Alex, OK to Virgil and Alma Eddings Mc Bride. Natoma died Sunday June 27, 2010 at her residence in Gainesville. She married Elton Scruggs on March 21, 1942 in Lindsay, Ok.

Natoma is survived by her husband Elton Scruggs of Gainesville; son:Dane and his wife Mary Lou Scruggs of Gainesville; daughters - in - laws: Gloria Scruggs Morrison of Gainesville and Sharon Scruggs of Gainesville; Brothers: Dale and wife Alta McBride of Kerrville, Jack and wife Jodi McBride of Goodman, MO; sisters: Lavora Short of Forsythe, MO, Lawana Mae and husband Tommy Clinton of Ponca City, OK, Annetta and husband Phil Monse of Olathe, KS; 16 Grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great - great grandchildren.

Natoma is preceded in death by her parents: Virgil and Alma Eddings McBride; sons: Coy Scruggs, Darrell Scruggs; brothers: Doyle McBride, and Dwight McBride.
