Doyle McCravey Sudduth

Graveside services for Doyle Sudduth, 85, of Era, are set for 9:00 am Monday August 16, 2010 at Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation is set for 7:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday August 15, 2010 at the funeral home.

Doyle was born on July 19, 1925 in Floydada to Frank Binion and Mattie Morine McCravey Sudduth. He died August 12, 2010 in Gainesville.

He was a veteran of the US Navy, worked in construction, the garment industry, and as a custodian at Valley View Elementary School.

Mr. Sudduth is survived by his wife Mary Sudduth of Era, daughters and sons in law Tricia and Bobby Barthold of Valley View, Lisa and Anthony Bryant of Valley View, Janet and Mark McCrary of Italy, and Ruthie and Ted Swain of Bedrock, CO, son and daughter in law David and Anne Sudduth of Fort Collins, CO, sisters and brothers in law Jo and Lee Miller of Brownfield, and Patsy and Delbert Burt of Gainesville, and a sister Avis Robertson of Arlington. He is also survived by grandchildren Cori and her husband Will Thomason, Chance Barthold, Abby Barthold, Andi Pryor, Adam Bryant, Christopher McCrary, Joshua McCrary, Matthew McCrary, Perry Sudduth, Holli Sudduth, Jessica Sudduth, Sean Sudduth, Heidi Swain, and Heather Harris, great grandchildren Canyon, Kate, Cope, Kobi, Joi, Ryli, James, Landen, Camden, Amber, Danny, Carson, and Betsy, special nephews Randy McClean and Johnny McClean and special pets Max, Baby, Sunni, and T-Bo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Allen Sudduth, brothers Mitchell Sudduth, Willard Sudduth, and R. G. Sudduth, and a sister Frankie Montgomery.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
