Bill Underhill

Funeral services for Bill G. Underhill, 75, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 AM Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Howard Williamson and Larry Sullivant officiating. A visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, August 1, 2010.



Mr. Underhill passed away July 28, 2010 at the Atrium Medical Center of Corinth.



Bill was born January 7, 1935 to William L. and Maud Lambert Underhill in Barry, TX. Bill had been a “cutter” for many years and only in the last year or so had given up training and showing cutting horses.



Mr. Underhill is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia Underhill, his children Kim Larue, Carla Cameron, Bobby Underhill, and Elaine Robbins and Fred J. Yancy and his wife Holly. He is also survived by his grandchildren Wesley, Sterling, Marty, Natalie, Jonathan, Jennifer, Jason, Josh and great granddaughter Riann Yancy and “special” granddaughter Michelle who has been a constant in his life. He is survived by his sisters Polly, Betty, Pauline, Wanda and Jimmie and numerous nieces and nephews.



Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Dick Anderton and his sister Dorothy Macky.
