James Neu

Funeral Services for James Albert Neu, 69, of Gainesville, are set for 10:00 am Monday November 22, 2010 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Ronnie Quaid officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction if Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 5:00 pm on Sunday November 21, 2010 at the funeral home.

James was born in Mountain Springs on December 20, 1940 to Albert and Hazel Cory Neu. He died Thursday November 18, 2010 in Gainesville.

James attended school in Walnut Bend and graduated from Gainesville High School. He also attended Cooke County College. He was a member a member of the Commerce Street Church of Christ and had served as a deacon there. He retired from Weber Aircraft after working there for forty years.

He is survived by his wife Helen Neu of Gainesville, son Gregg Neu of Gainesville, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
