Marie E. Zimmerer

A Funeral Mass for Marie E. Zimmerer, 88, of Lindsay, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr. Raymond McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peter’s Cemetery. A rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.



Mrs. Zimmerer passed away December 23, 2009 at the Renaissance Care Center in Gainesville.



She was born April 2, 1921 in Lindsay to Joe and Elizabeth Hermes Bengfort. She worked as a cook and manager at Lindsay I.S.D. for many years. She was an active member of St. Peter’s Parish, St. Anne’s Society, AARP Chapter of Gainesville and participated in all kinds of activities.



Marie is survived by her sons and daughters in law Ronnie and Jane Zimmerer, Arnie and Pat Zimmerer and Steve and Pat Zimmerer, her grandchildren Matt Zimmerer, Leigh Ann Jezek, Keith Zimmerer, Christy Morris, Mark Zimmerer, Ryan W. Zimmerer and Kyleigh Zimmerer, her great grandchildren Bay, Meg and Penn Morris and Ryleigh Jezek. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Stoffels, Stella Hess, Sister Elise Bengfort and sister in law Ann Bengfort.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norbert Zimmerer, her brothers Leonard, Wilfred and Joseph Bengfort, and her sisters Catherine Stoffels and Dorothy Bengfort.



Pallbearers will be grandsons Matt, Keith, Mark and Ryan W. Zimmerer and grandsons in law Ben Jezek and Ryan Morris.
