Helen Seiwell

Funeral services for Helen Seiwell, 89, of Gainesville are set for Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Gainesville with the Rev. Hubert Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation is set for Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Seiwell died December 14, 2008 at the Denton Regional Hospital.

She was born January 2, 1919 in Gainesville to Jess B. and Louie Touchstone Hayes. She was Chief Deputy for the Licenses and Registration Office for over 32 years in Cooke County. She held prior employment with Clayton’s and was an accountant for Montgomery Ward.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Bobby and Ruth Seiwell of Lake Jackson; granddaughter and grandson-in-law Erin and Scott Lillian; grandson Craig Seiwell; and great-grandchildren Tristin Garrett, Kori and Kayli Seiwell.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her sister Elizabeth Hayes, and her brother Samuel B. Hayes.
