HISTORY
Richard Nelson Zanchetta was born July 11, 1967 in Baltimore, Mayland, to Nelson J. Zanchetta and M. Colleen Alderman Zanchetta. This son of a large, loving Italian family, and mother who always considered the highland areas of Virginia home, brought their "Yankee" son to Era's black gumbo in sixth grade. Bumpy at first, he was accepted by a community and school that later brought the great joy of his "by heart," brother, Jimmy Sutton, and bright eyes and constant smiles of grandchildren, Nina and Zachary.
