Virginia "Gin" Ann Mooney Henry

Virginia Ann (Mooney) Henry was born in Decatur, TX on Oct. 17, 1949, the 9th child of Mary Jo Hopson and H.M. Mooney, Jr. She passed from this life on May 28, 2010 at her residence.

On March 26, 1976 she married Larry D. Henry in Gainesville, where they lived their entire married life. Gin was know for her love of books, teaching country western dancing, and antiquing; she also taught at GISD and NCTC.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Larry D. Henry; her brothers: Dudley Mooney of Santo, Mart and Linda Mooney of Decatur; sisters: Laura and Doug Brewer of Gainesville, Mary anf Arvel Hubbard of Decatur, Nell Hess of Lindsay, Dana and Jimmie Williams of Greenwood, Molly and Glenn Crawshaw of Hot Springs Village, Ar; and sister - in - law: Meradith Mooney Smith of Colorado; in addition to multiple nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Thomas Michael Mooney and H.M. (Tim) Mooney III.
