John David Skaggs, 60, of Muenster passed away at his residence on Wednesday April 28, 2010. John was born March 26, 1950 to Clarence David and Dessie Odell Simpson Skaggs.
John is survived by his wife of 10 years: Judy Skaggs of Muenster; sons: Scott Skaggs of Mc Kinney and Darrin Skaggs of Hawaii; step-sons: Richard Hoberer of Gainesville, Randy Hoberer of Gainesville, and Cody Joe Pope of Gainesville; step-daughter: Edwina Hoberer of Gainesville Brother Jim Simpson of Gainesville, Jerry and wife Shirley Bacon of Lake Texoma; sister: Linda and Donnie Cloer of Gainesville; and 7 grandchildren.
Services for John David Skaggs 60, of Muenster are set for Monday May 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Dotson officiating Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Family visitation is set for Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 at the funeral home.
