Aaron Lara, 16, of Gainesville, passed away January 16, 2023 in Denton.

Aaron was born March 28, 2006 in Gainesville.  He grew up playing soccer and enjoyed detailing cars.  Aaron treasured most spending time with his family and friends, especially his daughter.

Survivors include: daughter Aalliyah Lara; girlfriend Stefania Martinez; parents Homero Lara and Adela Saenz; grandparents Jose Lara, Guadalupe Robledo, Guillermo Saenz, and Marisela Huerta; brother Alan Lara; sister Jimena Lara; brother Ivan Lara; sister Ariana Lara; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rosary and visitation are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 23 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
