Alfred Arthur (Al) Dudenhoeffer was born on December 15, 1930 to Adolph and Minnie Caroline (Dietz) Dudenhoeffer. He was born, raised, and worked the land at the family farm his entire life. Al passed away on Sept. 1 after a brief illness at the age of 92.
Al, or Uncle Fuzz as he was affectionately known to some, proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1946-1953 and in the Army Reserves for 8 more years. He was honorably discharged in 1961 after earning the Bronze Star among other accolades during his time in the Korean War. He spent his school career at St. Mary's Catholic School followed by Cooke County College. He loved to country dance, watch football (college and pro), go to WinStar, play dominoes, farm, ride his 4-wheeler, and was the best gardener.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bud, Mike, and Jerry, sisters: Eva Bauer, Tootie Bauer, and Anne Otto.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who love him and will miss him dearly.
