Graveside services for Alice Joy Taylor, 86, formerly of Gainesville, are set for 11:00 AM Friday, April 19, 2019, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.
Alice was born on January 4, 1933 in Dallas to Glennis James Schlottman and Willie Mae (McDowell) Schlottman. She passed away on April 16, 2019 in Sanger.
Alice is survived by her daughter Gaila Coursey and her husband Bill of Bridgeport; daughter Teresa Gilmore and her husband Bob of Sanger; grandchildren Robert Hamilton, Amanda Duncan, Amy Ross, Seth Gilmore; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Dolores "Boots" Steifel; and sister Glenna Ruth.
Memorial contributions may be made to the food pantry at the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.
