Aline Farr

Funeral services for Dorothy Aline Farr, 96, of Collinsville, are set for 11:00 AM Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Ethel Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. No visitation services are planned.

Aline was born on November 15, 1923 in Collinsville to Daniel Paul Walker  Sr. and Amanda Tennessee (Bozarth) Walker. She passed away on November 24, 2019 in Sherman.

Aline is survived by her son Joe B. Farr Jr. and his wife Beverly of McKinney; daughter Dana Johnson and her husband Sonny of Cedar Hill; son Jerry Farr of Fort Worth; son John Farr and his wife Sharon of Collinsville; grandchildren Lacey Hollandsworth (Tim), Joe B. Farr III (Rebecca), Ian Johnson (Cathy), Joel Johnson (Courtney), Amber Dodson (Derek), and Eric Farr. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joe Bryant Farr; great-granddaughter Britney Johnson; great-granddaughter Charlotte Johnson; sister Pauline Walker; sister Lorene Collins; Sister Paulita Reily; brother Paul Walker; and infant brother Charles Walker.

Pallbearers will be Ian Johnson, Eric Farr, Joel Johnson, Derek Dodson, Joe B. Farr III, and Tim Hollandsworth.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Collinsville.
