Ann P. Montgomery

A graveside service for Ann P. Montgomery, 94, of Dallas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating.

Mrs. Montgomery passed away February 15, 2019 in Dallas.

Ann was born August 23, 1924 in Gainesville to Leonard R. and Bera (Graves) Powledge.  After graduating from Gainesville High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing & Textiles from Texas Women’s University.  Ann then worked in the Geophysical department of Magnolia Petroleum Co.  She was a member of Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church for over years, active in the Redus Bible Class, Swingin’ Saints Square Dance Club, Junior Mentor Club, Circle Review, and Seeker’s Antique Club.

Survivors include: husband Robert A. Montgomery of Dallas; son Mark Montgomery and wife Linda of Orlando, FL; grandsons Patrick and George Montgomery; and several cousins.
