Anna Luicelle Hall

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Anna Luicelle Hall, 59, of Gainesville, Texas. She passed away at her home on February 18, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1965, in Dallas Texas, to Mary Barthold and Mark Chewning.

Anna had an immense humor who cherished and loved her family.  To her special joys in life, she became known as Nana where she loved to hear how busy they keep mom and dad with their activities and academics.  She enjoyed riding around sightseeing and spending time at the lake with friends.  She loved working with the elderly and listening to all the shared wisdom during her years of working as a CNA/home health aide.

Anna is survived by her mother Mary Barthold of Gainesville, her Father Mark Chewning and wife Alice of South Carolina, Daughter Amber Taylor and husband Steven Taylor with Grandchildren Aleigh Taylor, Olivia Taylor and Sophia Taylor of Justin. Half sister Deborah McMillian, step sister Carolyn Walters and significant other Ronnie Lampard, step sister Melissa Barker and husband Randy, step sister Cindy Liedtke, step brother Jerry Barthold and wife Irma, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her step Father Otis Barthold, step Mother Billie Chewning, step brothers Michael and Ricky Garner, and Grandparents Pauline and Lynton Mitchell, Mary Jackson and John Chewning.

Memorial service will be at Tabernacle Baptist Church Saturday February 20, 2025 at 5 pm.
