Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Wiebe officiating.  Mr. Roberts will be interred at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors following private committal services.

Mr. Roberts passed away December 16, 2020 in Valley View.

Art was born April 27, 1930 into a farming family in Lancaster, TX.  At the age of 18, he began his 4-year installment in the United States Army, serving in combat during the Korean War. Upon leaving the service, he married and began his career as a truck driver and father.

A lifelong avid fisherman, Art is widely known on the banks of Lake Ray Roberts. Those who got to know him well know that fishing was indeed a passion to Art. He was often seen fishing by himself, but he was never alone - for as much as he loved fishing, it remained his second passion, because Art’s greatest love was for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and he took Him with him everywhere.

Art was a member of Christian Gathering Church in Valley View, TX, where he served as elder.
