Barbara Ann Pollard

February 6, 1935 — November 26, 2020

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Pollard, 85, of Callisburg, are scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday, November 30, 2020, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Roslyn Eugster officiating.  Interment will follow at Nocona Cemetery.

Barbara was born February 6, 1935 in Tyler to Robert and Clara Lula (Grimsley) Wynne.  She attended Nocona High School and Rhema Bible School.  Barbara married Billy Jim Pollard in July 1955.  They lived and raised their children in the Callisburg community.  Mrs. Pollard was a clerical specialist and case worker prior to retiring.  After a brief retirement, Barbara went back to work for FEMA and worked there for 10 years before retiring a second time.  Barbara loved to study the Bible, maintain her garden, spend time with friends playing 42, and being around her family.  Mrs. Pollard was a devout Christian and member of Callisburg United Methodist Church - she lived life to the fullest and had unending faith.

Survivors include: son, Paul Pollard and wife, Dawn; daughter, Ann Bernauer and husband, Chuck; grandchildren: Cody, Jake, Abigail, Jami, Kaylie, Amber; and great-grandchildren: Henley, Slaid, Creede, Hollen, Ayden, Adelynn, Emma, and Ebbi.

Mrs. Pollard was preceded in death by: husband, Billy Jim Pollard; parents, Robert and Clara Wynne; sister, Joan Williams; and brother, Bobby Wynne.
