Bettie Nell Sieger

A memorial graveside service for Bettie Sieger, 71, of Gainesville, is set for 10:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Sharrock Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Kremling officiating. No visitation is planned.
Bettie was born on January 8, 1949 in Gainesville to Lloyd Foster and Helen (Berry) Foster. She passed away on June 28, 2020 in Denton after losing her battle with cancer.
Bettie lived in Myra where she attended school before moving to Gainesville with her family. She lived in Arlington while in high school. She married Lawrence Joseph Sieger on December 25, 1966, and moved to Washington state while Lawrence was in the Navy. They moved back to Gainesville after his enlistment and started Siegers Plumbing, and built their home in Walnut Bend. Bettie worked at Gainesville Printing, Head Start, drove a bus for Walnut Bend School, and their plumbing business.
Bettie enjoyed reading, writing, sketching, and spending quiet time with her little dogs.
Bettie is survived by her husband Lawrence Sieger; sister Movita Harris; brother Rodger Foster and his wife Leshya; nephew Lonnie Winchester and his wife Carol Ann; nephew Shane Foster and his wife Mikka; and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Lloyd Dale "Duke" Foster; nephew David Harris; and nephew Lawrence Dale Foster.
Memorial contributions may be made to Noah's Ark or the American Cancer Society.
