Bobbi Anne Mcwilliams

March 6, 1954 — December 22, 2024

Bobbi Anne McWilliams, 70, of Gainesville, TX passed away on December 22, 2024 at
Renaissance Care Center in Gainesville, TX. Bobbi passed peacefully, surrounded by her family
and friends. She was born on March 6, 1954 in Syracuse, NY to Robert Vankleef and Margaret
Michaels Vankleef.


Bobbi was born in New York but lived the majority of her life in Texas, with El Paso and
Gainesville being her main places of residence. She enjoyed attending Cook County Cowboy
Church, her many attempts at gardening and evening walks with her husband and close
friends. Bobbi made a career in book keeping and accounting and spent the later years of her
life working for the Chickasaw Nation, finally retiring from their Winstar Casino in Thackerville,
OK in 2022.


Bobbi is survived by her husband, Paul McWilliams, of Gainesville, TX, her sons, Jason Payne of
Seattle, WA and Roger Payne of Las Cruces, NM, her daughter, Carie Payne and two grandsons
of El Paso, TX, her step son, Jeffery Duke of Longview, TX and her step daughter, Donna Ezell of
Maydelle, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and brother, Michael
Ball, of NY, and her step son, Kevin McWilliams of Madill, OK as well as numerous other loved
ones along the way.


Bobbi was full of life. She loved her children, grandchildren and her husband very much and
will leave an everlasting mark on their hearts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.


Final Thoughts


Jason- Thank you for bringing me into this world, love you Mom.
Roger- All my love and respect.
Carie- I shine because of you, Mom.
Oliver- I will always remember snack Fridays.
Sage- Thank you for teaching me to ride my scooter.
Donna- Thank you for the unwavering love and devotion you gave my dad.
Paul- 25 years was not enough, you may be gone but you are still in my heart.


The family would like to thank the staff at Medical City in Dallas and Renaissance Care Center
and Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home in Gainesville for their care for Bobbi in her final
days. No public services will be held.
