Bobby Morris Cross, Jr.

Bobby Morris Cross, Jr., better known as Morris, departed this world on March 29, 2022, to go to his heavenly home.

Morris was born June 26, 1956 in Fort Worth to Bobby Cross, Sr. and Jackie (Robertson) Cross.  On November 30, 1974 he married the love of his life, Shirley (Spencer) Cross.  They celebrated 47 years of Holy Matrimony together.

Mr. Cross loved his family and served the Lord, devoting his life to both.  He served as a husband, father, papa, friend, and preacher.  He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Old Car Club, ABBA, and multiple other charities and organizations.

Morris is survived by his wife Shirley Cross; son Bobby Cross III and wife Sonya; daughter Amy (Cross) Mitchell and husband Michael; daughter Nikki Spencer; daughter Jennifer Forester and husband Stephen; sister Debra Breaud; sister Kathy McElvain; brother David Cross; 12 grandchildren (soon to be 13); 1 great-grandchild.

Mr. Cross was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tommy Cross.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you the day God called you Home."

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 4, 2022 in Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Eddy Ramsey officiating.
