Brayden Richard Schumacher passed away on July 25, 2023. He was born on May 19, 2008 in Gainesville to Zack and Mindy Schumacher. Brayden was a handsome, energetic, compassionate and thoughtful young man. He was a remarkable son, brother, grandson, friend, athlete, student, comedian, and encourager.
Brayden is survived by his parents Zack & Mindy Schumacher and brother Colton of Lindsay; grandparents Larry Schumacher, Julie Smith, Bill Hill, Sr, and Becky & Shane Robinson; aunt Leslie Crutsinger and spouse Blake, uncle Bill Hill, Jr. and spouse Nina; uncle River Robinson; cousins Avery & Keller Crutsinger and Weston, Seth, and Addie Hill; great grandmother Florence Schumacher, Godparents John & Michelle Spaeth, and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by great grandparents Henry & Ethel Gentry, Margie Cunningham, Richard Schumacher, Veda McGinnis and grandmother Kathy Hill.
Brayden loved sports, but especially football and powerlifting. Weightlifting was his favorite hobby. When he wasn’t playing sports himself, he loved going to school events and cheering on his friends. He was always easy to find in the stands because he loved to dress in ridiculous theme attire any chance he could. He was a loyal friend and loved to make you laugh, even though he wasn’t always trying.
