Carlton "Skip" Dickey

A memorial service for Carlton Dickey, 65, of Sherman, is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Gainesville, with Rev. Hollis Parsons officiating.  An inurnment will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.  Services are under the care of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Dickey passed away March 20, 2018 in Denton.

Carlton was born October 28, 1952 in El Paso, TX to Prentice R.V. and Adell (Evans) Dickey.  He was a lifetime resident of Grayson County.  Carlton had a kind heart and a sweet soul.  He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include: sister Kaye Allen and husband Jim of Gainesville; nieces and nephews: Chad Allen and wife Christa, Colton Allen, Caris Allen, Austin Allen and wife Blossom and daughter Taylin, and Avery Allen; cousin Peggy Scott of Austin; and other family members: Janet Dickey, Adrian Dickey, and John and Carla Neinast.

Mr. Dickey was preceded in death by: his parents; and brother Gerald Wayne Dickey.
